Every day brings a new challenge, and this past year, the fight has been particularly tough. Battling severe anemia, I faced life-threatening moments right before the holidays, requiring nine units of blood just to stabilize. The diagnosis that followed was devastating—uterine cancer. I've endured a total hysterectomy but have been unable to work since early December. Despite these overwhelming obstacles, I strove to create a semblance of Christmas joy for my children, even as mounting bills lay heavily on my shoulders. Now, as I stand on the brink of February, I am facing the harsh reality of overdue rent, an outstanding $1,000 electricity bill, and looming insurance payments, among other essential expenses. Cleared to return to work, I am met with uncertainty about the future of my employment. As much as I yearn for independence, the burden has become too great to bear alone. Today, I humbly reach out, asking for your kindness and generosity to help prevent the loss of our home and provide the stability my children need. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards securing our housing and keeping the lights on, providing peace of mind during these challenging times. Please consider helping us get back on our feet. Each gift is a step closer to regaining stability and comfort for my family. Thank you from the depths of my heart for your compassion and support.
