I'm here today in hopes of finding some sort of help to get me back on my feet. Things have been extremely tough the last few years and it's only getting worse. The only current income coming into my home is my disability payment which isn't enough to keep us afloat or for barely scraping the surface. I'm looking for different options and a way to get out of the situation but I need to leg up...a little jump start. I've tried several avenues to find my way out but nothing seems to be helping. Please allow me to explain my situation in a bit more detail.
It started with Covid, just like it has for many people. The family business started to go downhill after Covid, leaving us with no option but to close 2 years ago. Not long after that my accounts were hacked and I lost $150,000, essentially our entire life savings. After that crisis I realized it was because my identity had been stolen so I'm currently dealing with no ability to fix my identity and no chance at receiving a loan due to my stolen identity and the damage it did to my credit report. Also to make matters worse I currently have no vehicle to drive for work and I live in the country making walking to work essentially impossible.
I do have a computer but it's currently broke I can't pay to fix it or pay to replace it. My hopes were to find a job online but that's not likely with just a phone, especially one that is so old and barely holds the charge. I have tried troubleshooting every idea I could find online in order to fix my computer but I have been unsuccessful. I also need to be able to replace my phone so that whatever work I do I will have a phone to be reached on.
Before my computer went bad and all the money was stolen I did start the process of setting up an online business in order to support myself and my children. I have the business idea in hand, I had already set up my LLC and all appropriate paperwork. The only thing I'm lacking is to finish my website and some training on how to run it. If I have my computer available I'd like to pursue that, as well as find an online job that I can do with my disability. My desire is to be self-sufficient or self-sustaining even with my disability.
Again, I'm here today to ask for help in getting me on my feet. In short I need funds just to survive but more important enable me to stand on my own having my computer fixed or replaced, purchasing a new phone and some training for my website. I could also use the funds to help repair my identity with the assistance of a lawyer or someone that deals with such things, because it's pretty bad. I could also use the funds to help with the filing fees and operation expenses of what it takes for an LLC. On a side note it would be a great bonus if anyone has tips on how to find an online job!
