Thank you for considering a donation to our fundraising event!
Four students from a Suzuki Violin program in Burundi, East Africa have been accepted to take part in the 12th European Suzuki Children's Convention in Istanbul, April 2026. This program was founded by Julie Marner in 2014 and these students will be the first from Burundi to ever attend a Suzuki music convention. At the conference they will have classes with top Suzuki teachers from all over Europe, experience playing in an orchestra for the first time, and perform with hundreds of other students from around the world at Atatürk Cultural Center. We invite you to become a part of this significant journey.
We are also raising money for our own musical theater education. From coaches to college applications and auditions as well as a prestigious summer program (SUTE), this money would help further our education in dance, acting, music theory and singing. We (Jaydin, Josiah, Rozlyn and Quincy) are all Juniors at a Performing Arts High School in San Diego and we are seeking to advance our careers in the arts.
If you are in San Diego, please join us for our Young Art Benefit Concert as we share our musical talents on March 28th 2026, 7pm. The concert tix price is (suggested) $10. The concert will be held at the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, 4321 Eastgate Mall, San Diego, CA 92121. For questions, you may call Jaydin at 619-394-4227.
Our goal is to raise a total of $12,000 with $4000 going to the musicians in Burundi, Africa to further their education and the rest will assist the four of us with our musical education.
Thank you for any and all support!
