Hi, my name is LaShaun and I’m raising funds on behalf of an incredible young man named AJ, who needs our help.
AJ is just 19 years old, but already carries the weight and responsibility of someone far beyond his years. As the oldest sibling in his family, AJ has stepped up in ways most teens never have to. He’s been helping his mom take care of the younger children, driving them to and from school, and working side jobs to contribute to the household — all while preparing to go back to college to pursue a better future.
A few months ago, I helped AJ get a used car with small biweekly payments. It gave him the ability to work, support his family, and plan for school. But unfortunately, less than two months later, the car broke down completely and is no longer drivable.
That car was AJ’s lifeline — not just for his own growth, but for his family’s daily survival. He’s now stuck with no reliable transportation, and without a way to get to work or return to school this fall.
We’re asking for help to raise funds to either:
- Purchase a reliable vehicle, or
- Connect with a car donation program or support network
Every dollar helps, and every share brings us closer to helping AJ get back on the road and back on track. He’s a young man with drive, heart, and responsibility — he just needs a community that believes in him.
