Life can change in an instant, and that's exactly what happened to our friend and coworker.
While driving, another driver suddenly pulled out in front of him, causing a devastating collision. The impact was so severe that his airbag never deployed, and moments later, his van caught fire. He escaped with his life, but he lost everything inside the vehicle.
His injuries have been extensive. He suffered a broken sternum, experienced cardiac complications that required treatment in the ICU, and now faces a long road to recovery.
Doctors expect he will be unable to work for at least the next several months.
For someone who works hard every day to provide for his family, the emotional and financial burden has been overwhelming. Medical bills are mounting, household expenses continue, and the loss of income has created tremendous uncertainty during an already difficult time.
