Hello everyone,
On November 12, 2024, my life changed forever. I was inside my workplace, Givaudan (formerly DD Williamson), when a massive explosion occurred. Two of my coworkers tragically lost their lives, and although I was fortunate not to be severely injured physically, I have been deeply affected. I’ve been struggling with PTSD, fear, and the lasting trauma from that day.
Since the explosion, I tried to return to work but expressed that I did not feel safe in the building. Instead of supporting me, my employer terminated me in May 2025. After losing my job, I applied for unemployment, but that was denied as well. I’ve also been told that my lawsuit may not bring the support I was hoping for.
Right now, I’m at one of the hardest points in my life. I’m trying to get back on my feet while carrying the emotional scars of that day. I am asking for your help to cover my basic living expenses while I work to heal and rebuild.
