The Georgia Department of Agriculture has responded to our Open Records Request for all communications regarding Clayton County Animal Control during April and May 2026.
The estimated cost to obtain these records is $128.
These communications are especially important because they cover the period immediately following the March 11, 2026 euthanasia violation issued by GDA and may reveal what corrective actions CCAC represented to state regulators, what concerns were discussed, and what operational changes were proposed or implemented.
Recent investigations have already identified significant questions regarding euthanasia practices, transparency, reporting discrepancies, and accountability. These records may help provide answers that the public has not yet received.
Every contribution will go directly toward obtaining and reviewing these records so that the information can be shared with the public.
