My co worker Andy got hit by a car while he was biking dowtown in Pittsburgh.  He got thrown off his bike and through the windsheild of the persons car and broke his ankle in 3 different places during the hit.  He was rushed to the hospital where he was later placed in the ICU of the hospital.  He was later moved out of the ICU wing and was being monitored by nurses and doctors.  Earlier this week he was moved back to the ICU wing when doctors discovered that he now has blood clots in his lungs and needs to have surgery on his legs.  During all of this he has had to stop working and drop out of his final year of Veternarian School because of the accident.  He has no income at the moment and lots of money due to the hospital.  He has also been caring for his wife who was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma.  With him in the hospital there really is no one to take care for her.  He does not have any support in Pittsburgh because they had just moved from Texas where all of his family is.  Andy is one of the most nicest people that I know.  He is caring, funny, and just someone that you want to be around.  I know that it would mean a lot to him to see that people are trying to help him, and it would also mean a lot to me.  Please help me reach my goal to be able to help him and his wife financially in these rough times for them.
