My parents were attacked by a pit bull yesterday. My mom is in the worst shape. All the bones in her right arm are broke she doesn’t have blood flow to that arm right now. Her left arm is shattered. They are going in there today to put a plates and rods in her arm. Her kidney is not working she is currently on kidney dialysis. She has been opening her eyes some and responding to us. She is just really in and out. My dad is home resting both of his arms are pretty bad. He has to go to the doctor Monday to start skin graphs on both arms. Me my sister and my brother will be going back and forth taking care of our parents

My mom is in multiple organ failure. They believe if they do an amputation on her right arm she will have a better chance. It is not a guarantee. But we have told them to do it and try to save her life. They can’t do the surgery until she is stable enough because right now she is not stable and she will bleed out and they might not be able to save her.
