Hi guys!
I'm Emma Ambrose and I am currently a freshman at Arcadia University and a member of the Main Line Independent 2023 Winterguard. I have been spinning since I was in 10th grade, but, unfortunately, COVID-19 practically ruined my high school guard experience. I only got to go to championships once and, at one point, my team was only made up of six people, including myself. I really never got a chance to have fun and focus on my skills during high school, so I decided to join Main Line Independent to give myself one more opportunity to spin and have fun doing what I love!
However, my commitment is a lot more than in high school. I have paid about $1100 of my $1700 commitment, between some fundraising and my own savings, but I still need $600 in order to be allowed to go to championships in Dayton, Ohio. As a full-time college student, food service worker, assistant junior guard coach, and nanny, I do not have enough hours or money to pay for my tuition. I also will be studying abroad next semester and I need to be able to pay off my dues while saving money for abroad so money has become tight for me I'm most likely only going to spin with Main Line for one season due to how heavy this price is so this is my final chance to do color guard before I finish college.
It would mean the world to me if you could help me pay for my tuition for the team's set, uniforms, etc. Any amount is appreciated, truly. Thank you so much and please consider showing your support for the sport of the arts!
Emma Ambrose, she/her
