On November 19, 2025, Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church suffered a catastrophic loss. An act of violence directed toward our place of worship resulted in a devastating fire that left our sanctuary completely charred and unusable. The place we have known as a sanctuary of praise and tabernacle of deliverance, has been destroyed and lay in ruins. While it is unclear to our faith community the motivation of the person who engaged in this act of violence, what we do know is that we are resilient, our faith is unyielding, our resolve is unshaken. There will be difficult days ahead as we process the physical loss of our sanctuary, but we trust and believe that all will be recovered.
