🌿 A Dream to Build a School Where Children Truly Bloom
I’ve spent my life working with children — in classrooms, science programs, and nature education — and through all those years, one quiet dream kept growing in my heart: to create a small school where children feel safe, known, inspired, and excited to learn each day.
Not a crowded system where kids get lost — but a place where they are seen.
A place filled with books, gardens, science discoveries, outdoor learning, and caring relationships. A place where curiosity is protected and childhood is honored.
Bloomfield Nature School is that dream in motion.
I am working step-by-step to open a small, nature-centered micro-school designed around children’s needs — small class sizes, hands-on learning, strong academics, and meaningful connection to the natural world. A place where learning is joyful and personal.
Starting something like this is both exciting and humbling. There are real costs to preparing a safe, child-ready space — classrooms, learning materials, outdoor areas, and safety improvements. That’s why I’m inviting others to be part of building this vision from the very beginning.
Your donation — whether large or small — helps create:
🌱 A safe and beautiful learning space
📚 Books and hands-on learning materials
🌼 Outdoor and garden classrooms
🧪 Science and discovery tools
🪴 A nurturing environment where children can grow with confidence
This is more than a school plan — it’s a calling, built from years of teaching and a deep belief in what children deserve.
If this vision speaks to you, I would be incredibly grateful for your support — and for sharing this with others who believe in meaningful, child-centered education.
Thank you for helping this dream take root and grow.
With gratitude,
Kim Woodford
