Привіт! My name is Ruslana Kochmar and originally I come from Ukraine, Odesa (a beautiful city on the coast of the Black Sea 🌊)
One of my primary contacts at the military battlefront is Yurii, who serves in the 45th Artillery brigade of the Armed Forces. Their team was recently undergoing rehabilitation and training according to NATO standards.
🤷🏻♀️Why am I doing this?
I have talked to people who joined either Armed Forces or Territorial Defense Forces in Ukraine and, unfortunately, they still face huge delays and issues with obtaining promised humanitarian aid.
⚠️Since it takes time for the international pipeline to digest money, we could speed up the process on a smaller scale. By targeting specific present needs, we could still make a valid contribution.
There are many people out there who are facing some ethical and technical difficulties since they either
a) donate to ”less effective” channels;
b) chose not to donate since they cannot be assured where their money goes;
c) prefer donating much smaller amounts due to other insecurities;
d) sadly, “Ukranianwashing” (just like “greenwashing”) turned into a possible global assistance abuse.
💡In this light, I decided to try to break this barrier and address the real-time needs of the Ukrainian military. The goal of this crowdfunding is to create transparency in all operations by publishing the amount received and spent, as well as pictures of our successful purchases.
⚖️My motto is that
“100% of tracked donations are going DIRECTLY to purchase critical supplies that are meeting the most urgent basic needs of soldiers”.
To fulfill this motto, I also set up a separate Telegram Account (FromMe2Ukraine), where I plan to share all the progress that WE are making together as the international community.
🎯 Thanks to your combined efforts, we just achieved the primary goal of acquiring the portable power generator! (See the picture below). It is a small purchase, but a huge step in aiding AUTHENTIC PEOPLE, who are fighting for our free democratic world. The cost of the generator without delivery fees was around $840 (approximate conversion from Poland Zloty to USD).
It is currently in Warsaw, Poland waiting for the second pick-up next week 📍
‼️The second aspiring goal to collect enough money for winter boots was also achieved. Thanks to our combined efforts we purchased a full set of winter water-proof boots for soldier.

Unfortunately, due to high rotation these past weeks, only some of the soldiers from the 45th brigade (who remained temporarily in the central region) are in this picture. Many others went back to the east for obvious reasons. 
Of course, my peculiar attentive traits couldn’t let these patches get noticed. Unfortunately, I could only find the last 14 patches - but I hope that the brigade will appreciate this small gesture :)
As promised, here is my “preliminary” receipt for this purchase. I said preliminary intentionally since we need to also cover the price for logistics from the US to Ukraine. I will be posting more information regarding the logistics shortly.
