Hi! I’m Domina Stamas, a high school physics teacher at Westlake Charter High and founder of the ACE Project (Analog Crew Education).
This October, I have the incredible opportunity to be the only formal U.S. educator selected for the World’s Biggest Analog Space Mission (WBA), a two-week simulation of life on the Moon, Mars, and space station in transit connecting 16 habitats worldwide. The first mission of its kind!
A UN envoy will be at our Mission Control in Vienna and there’s a documentary that is in production.
During the mission, I’ll live in a lunar habitat in Poland, LunAres, conducting space research experiments just like real astronauts. But the mission isn’t just about me. Through my work with the ACE Project, I’m connecting 38 teachers and more than 3,000 students from 11 countries to the mission, allowing classrooms to engage with real-time science, teamwork, and exploration from around the globe.
This experience will allow students to see science and space exploration in action, inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, and explorers.
Why I Need Your Help:
Participating in this mission comes with significant costs, including travel, mission fees, and specialized training. Your support will help me bring this experience back to classrooms worldwide, creating a global learning network that students can interact with during and after the mission.
Every donation, big or small, makes a difference, it’s not just funding a mission, it’s investing in the future of science education.
Thank you for helping me bring the excitement of space to students around the world!
