Join the Journey: Funding the Second Student of Revival Documentary
There are incredible prayer movements popping up all over the world. Over 1000 years ago, there was an impressive 24/7 prayer movement that lasted for 300 years straight, impacting the world profoundly. What's the driving force behind this? Is it good discipline and good scheduling, or is it something much deeper than that?
Maybe we are trying too hard. Maybe we don’t understand the Father’s love. Maybe there’s a whole lot more to the gospel than just salvation. It’s time we do some digging, go to some places, talk to pastors, authors, and prophets. It’s time to go on another journey.

A thought from Anthony Phipps
"I think God tricked me into finding something I would have never found. I made a documentary on revivals I’ve seen, and others I’ve only heard of. During this journey, I thought I was compiling the testimonies of what God has done, and what He does, to inspire others to seek Him in this way as well. I ended my journey satisfied that God had purposed this film to be a call to prayer, as it is the key to revival. But something else happened on this journey; I encountered God in a real and tangible way. Multiple times I shook, wept, and was in pain by the sheer weight of His presence. Most of all, I felt a love so fierce and deep that it felt too good to be the God I had been taught about my whole life. I couldn’t tell you what He was doing through these encounters, and I still don’t fully know, but whatever happened began to grow inside of me. At first, it was war—a war waged inside between who I thought God was and the Abba I continued to encounter. I held onto one because it felt right, but I ran after the other because there was life inside of our relationship. Prayer became the place of communion with Him. The more I found Him in this place, the less I needed to ask for things or needs. I just wanted to pursue Him for the joy of being with Him. I burn to live in this place day and night. I have been a student of revival for years now, and yet there comes a time when a student must experience, and that experience may change everything you know.
In my studies, I came across the story of Bangor Abbey in Ireland. Saint Patrick tells a story of when He was walking near the coast, He saw a valley below filled with angels singing praises glowing with light. This place would be called “The Valley of Angels”. A hundred years later Bangor Abbey would be built in this very place, and it would become world-renowned. This small monastery would grow into a magnificent beacon of learning, writing, and craftsmanship. But greatest of all, was their devotion to God, by prayer, psalms, hymns, and silence twenty-four hours a day for over two hundred years. These people believed they could live like the desert fathers of Egypt secluded by their own desert, the ocean. They came to seek Him alone and give all their life to this one thing. In this pursuit, they would change the world."
