We often support schools by buying wrapping paper, cookie dough, and candy bars - let's offer the same support to homeschoolers!
Hiii everyone!! PJ and Eva will be taking laps in our first color run in support of our home school co-op.
Our cooperative will be hosting a color run in Covington Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11am-1pm. We are reaching out in support of all our children and families to help support us in our fees.
We are a homeschool community serving 60+ children annually. We meet every week for 30 weeks of the year. We are a Christ centered group whose mission is to know God and make him known.
When people hear that we homeschool, they think our expenses may be few. But similar to public schools, we incur many expenses annually and we do not benefit from the taxes we pay to the state to support public schools. Each family is responsible for application fees, tuition, books, supply fees, facility fees (we rent space at a local church) and liability insurance. Many of our families have multiple children and the expenses of schooling can become a financial stress to many in our community.
There is much beauty and many blessings in our homeschool cooperative and how we have chosen to school our children. Picture us as a traditional one room school house. Children from ages 4-18 learn and grow together. The children learn to help one another, accept and uplift each other no matter their age! We build community, help others and God is at the center of it all!
The money raised will support us in:
-application fees
-facility fees
-tuition assistance (for families in need)
-supply fees
-liability insurance
Thanks so much!
