I am 53. I have had several surgeries on my wrists and thumb due to 30 years in restaurant business. For the past few years, I’ve been trying to get on disability and according to surgeon and doctors. I do qualify but have been denied several times. I am now trying to become a school bus driver because I feel like and physically do that. Without strain on my wrists and thumb. I have gone as far as getting my permit I have worked several. Months and come so far, but I am stuck. The company does not have enough trainers and it would be a few months. Before I get all my training done I am a single dad although my daughter just moved out she is 20. I am not able to help her at all at this time. I am on EBT and live in section 8 housing. I am grateful for EBT for food and have reached out to local nonprofits. But I have exhausted my resources and need temporary help to get me through the summer. My goal is 500. Which will pay my bills for the next couple Months , I am also hoping to get my CDL class B license for school bus training at the school in Vallejo simply cannot afford to right now I have my permit which I’ve worked several months achieve but the Bus company for lack of trainers and my slight learning disability, it just takes me a bit longer is all has put me to the side. A little help to get over the hump would be very much appreciate
