Life can be so very CRUEL sometimes! We just had the funnest week with Nana & Pop at the Beach in OBX then wake up to this nightmare...
Today Saturday June 12th Anthony went out to run some errands for the day, stop and see his Uncle Daniel just like he does most weekends. He had told my mom Lisa she may have to pick him up later on.
Uncle Daniel and Anthony came through the door with Anthony seeming unsteady on his feet and not himself, mom and Uncle Daniel got him situated. His symptoms increased rather quickly, mom calling 911-arriving at the hospital. They found Anthony had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and needed to have immediate brain surgery. This surgery lasted a little over 6 hours no updates throughout.. just waiting, praying,hoping! The surgery was successful in stopping the bleed.
At this time Anthony remains on a ventilator and recovery time is unknown. All of this has caught everyone off guard as it was so sudden. He had no underlying health concerns issues.. just 2 months ago my mom had knee surgery and has been out of work for that and now now they are being thrown this curve ball!
Anthony does not have any medical insurance all of these expense will hit very hard. I will be helping my mom speak with the appropriate parties to see what assistance can be offered of of course. Just the day to fat bulls will continue to come. Absolutely any help is greatly appreciated but above all your prayers are NEEDED!
