Hi my name is Brigitte and I'm organizing this Spotfund for Jake along with his co-workers at Petes, he is a friend and one of the best poker dealers at Petes 881 club in San Rafael. Jake was in a horrible car crash early Monday morning after his shift at Petes. To avoid a deer he swerved off River Road in route to Guernville where he lives. His car turned over two or three times and fell down a 40' ravine. He was unconcious for a few hours, woke up and could not find his phone and the drivers side door wouldn't open. He then realized that if he didn't get himself out of there, no one would ever find him. Panic set in, he kicked the passanger door window out and crawled up the 50 foot embankment while spitting up blood onto the road where he waved down cars but no one stopped. He has 8 broken ribs, a punctured lung, two broken back bones and two bones broken in his jaw. He then dragged himself to the closest home and they kindly called the paramedics and rushed him to the hospital.
Jake is a single father of 9 year old Jude and 11 year old Ellie. Co parenting with his wife who is starting chemo treatment for cancer next week. Jake will be in the hospital for three weeks he will not be able to work for several months. He had surgery yesterday to have a plate put into his jaw that was broken in two places. Unfortunaetly he was in the middle of changing insurance and has no medical insurance. He was just changing insurances at the time and hadn't completed it. Although his Lungs are punctured they are looking ok. Please help with anything you can. He survived mostly on tips. Calling all the poker players at Petes 881 to help Jake out in his time of need. By the way it's also his birthday on Dec 11th.
