I didn’t expect to be writing something like this, but I’m currently in Peru and in a really difficult situation. I came here with plans to travel and support myself along the way, but things haven’t gone as expected. Between limited Spanish and fewer job opportunities than I anticipated, I’ve been struggling to find steady work and I’m now nearly out of money.
I’m actively trying to fix this—I’ve been going into hostels, restaurants, and tourist spots every day asking for any kind of work I can get. I’m willing to do anything from cleaning and dishwashing to basic labor, but it’s been tough to land something quickly enough.
At this point, I’m asking for a little help to stabilize my situation. The funds would go toward essentials like:
- Food and basic living costs
- A few nights of safe accommodation
- Transportation if I need to relocate for work or eventually return home
My goal isn’t to rely on donations long-term—I just need enough support to get through this rough patch and give myself a real chance to find work or make a safe next move.
