THERE IS A BETTER OPTION! šŸŒ

We can’t continue to watch our people be oppressed, brutalized, robbed and disrespected for our right at the ā€œAmerican Dreamā€. I think the ā€œAmerican Dreamā€ for Black Americans is getting set free from it.

Last year I came up with an idea that I think is not only achievable, but one that I also think can change the world.

I believe we as a people hold an infinite power the more united we are, which is why the powers that be have dedicated centuries of time and resources to keep us separated. I think we DESERVE the opportunity to have autonomy over our futures and I believe Africa holds that future for us. We can stay here and continue to fight a rigged system or we can come together and CREATE a new system that gives us and Namibians the freedom, opportunity and autonomy that was stolen from us.

Our team has done A LOT of work to this idea and now we think it’s time we put this theory to the test. Millions and Millions of Black Americans and Namibians working side by side to restore and build the most beautiful country in Africa, for us by us! This dream can only be achieved with action, determination and the greatest commitment of teamwork this world has ever seen.

So now, it’s time to go to Namibia.

I’m raising money to take a small team to Namibia and begin turning this idea from something we’ve researched and talked about into something we can actually investigate on the ground. We plan to travel the country, document everything we can, speak directly with Namibians, establish relationships with government officials and community and business leaders, study the land and infrastructure, and begin answering the serious questions that have to be answered before a vision of this magnitude can ever become reality.

This first trip isn’t the migration—it’s the first real step towards determining whether we can build the foundation for one. We want to understand what Namibia needs from us just as much as what we would need from Namibia, because this cannot work as Americans simply showing up and taking; it has to be a partnership that creates jobs, infrastructure, businesses, food production, housing, investment and opportunity for the Namibian people alongside anything we create for ourselves. The money raised will help cover travel, accommodations, transportation, documentation, research and the expenses required for our team to operate while we’re there, and we intend to bring you along for the journey so you can see exactly what your support helped make possible.

I’m only asking you for $1.

Not because this dream costs a dollar, but because I want to demonstrate what becomes possible when WE decide that our dollar, our voice and our future are stronger together than they are apart. Nobody can guarantee where this road ends—but I believe we owe ourselves the opportunity to find out where it can go. Namibia isn’t the only African country that can carry this dream but it IS the best option. I’m not saying it will be the perfect place, but I am saying it’s better than THIS PLACE!

If you believe our people deserve the chance to build something of our own, give $1, share this with somebody else, and help us take the first step toward Namibia.

A NOTE ON TRANSPARENCY:

None of the money raised through this fundraiser is intended for my personal use or personal enrichment. Every dollar will be dedicated to financing this mission—including travel, accommodations, transportation, documentation, research, meetings, communications, security if necessary, and other legitimate expenses directly connected to our work in Namibia. We intend to document the journey and be transparent about how the funds are being used, because if you trust us enough to put your money behind this vision, you deserve to know where that money is going.
