Gin is in need of funding for their top surgery! They are a gender queer lesbian and they’ve been struggling with dysphoria and sensory dysfunction because of their breasts for as long as I’ve known them. There are many days Gin can’t feel comfortable leaving our home or even existing in it because of their chest. I hear them proclaim almost every day that they need to “chop them off”. As Gin’s partner, I know it will be a dream come true for them to be able to travel to a skilled surgeon and receive the life changing care they’ve been needing. Our goal is to completely cover the costs to travel to a surgeon abroad to access this care at a better cost. Because Gin is a freelance childcare specialist, they aren’t able to access the insurance needed to cover their procedure here in the states. We want to raise a total of $5000 in order to fly, cover our stay, and pay for Gin’s surgery debt free. This is our first campaign in order to start the funding process.
