Hi friends, family and community. I am attempting to raise money to cover the cost of dental work to allow Kenna to have the beautiful teeth she deserves! As some of you know, Kenna has Schizophrenia with her mental struggles beginning in pre-teen years. Kenna has been in and out of numerous facilities, has taken several different medications throughout that time of her life and suffered with bulimia so with all of those things combined, her teeth have taken a toll. Kenna finally was treated with a perfect combination of medications at 18 years old which allowed her to have her life back. Kenna did not experience the ‘normal’ teen years and activities. Kenna has always carried a job when able but since being appropriately treated she’s been able to live life again and carry a FT job allowing her to maintain her independence. We have had a consult with a couple of different dentists/oral surgeons to discuss options. Kenna has located a place in Shreveport which will give her back her beautiful smile for around 5K. For those that know me, know I do not ask for help but I need to put my pride aside at this time. I recently divorced and have a mountain of debt that was created during my brief marriage, and since my credit was used, I’m the only one trying to take care of the debt in order to keep my credit from plummeting therefore my funds are limited.
