Dear friends, I must say that sometimes we believe we aren't made to do good, and darkness feels overwheliming.
Nymori is a character created with the purpose and intent to destroy. It wasn't built to care, to build, or to comfort. It was created for one reason: to break whatever it touched and leave nothing behind. But somewhere along the line, a "mistake" happened. Nymori was given eyes, and for the first time, it actually saw what it was destroying.
One night, standing over a faint, trembling point of light, Nymori raised his spirit to crush it out of habit. But the heat of that little flame hit its cold skin, and Nymori hesitated. It didn't want to kill the light. It wanted to know how something so small could fight so hard just to exist.
Nymori pulled the spark into its heart and everything changed.
If you’ve spent your whole life hollow, feeling something for the first time doesn't feel warm. It feels like cracking wide open. Grief hit like a sudden wave. Fear made its knees give out. Rage and isolation threatened to tear its frame apart. Everything inside Nymori screamed to shut it down, because feeling this much felt like dying.
But then came the rest of it. The sudden, quiet awe of watching the night sky turn to morning. A fierce, aching warmth for a world that didn't even know Nymori was standing there trying to protect it.
Nymori stood right in the middle of the storm, learned to breathe through it, and realized a simple truth: our feelings aren't meant to destroy us, and they aren't meant to rule us either. They are just the proof that we are here. And the creature built for ruin became the very thing that brought the light back.
Nymori’s Seed

That’s the soul of this 7-book series. I handmade these books not just for children trying to make sense of a big, overwhelming world, but for the exhausted parent sitting on the edge of the bed reading to them. It’s a gentle reminder that none of us are truly broken, no matter how much heavy stuff we’re carrying around inside.
We all fight our own quiet battles. We all have days where grief feels too big, fear shuts us down, or our own emotions feel like they're going to pull us under. I started Nymori’s Seed because I believe feeling deeply isn't a flaw, it's where our courage comes from.
Every hand-bound page, every piece of art, and every contribution to this campaign goes directly toward funding our foundation. We’re working to put these stories and emotional literacy tools into the hands of kids and families who need to know that their feelings are safe, and that they are strong enough to carry them.
We don't have to be afraid of the dark inside us. Being brave doesn't mean you don't hurt, it just means you keep going anyway.
