Hello and thank you for taking time to look at my fundraiser page. My name is Zach and I am looking to start my first business. A little background about myself, I am a disabled veteran and deployed for a year to Tikrit Iraq. I served 6 years in total in the Army (4)/National Guard (2). I was born in New York and moved around quite a bit as a kid. We finally settled down in a small town in central California where I attended high school. Since getting out of the Army I have gone through programs for welding and have learned quite a bit in my transition from welding to Fire Protection, now to school for Gunsmithing. I have two gorgeous kids and a wonderfully supportive wife. I currently am a stay-at-home daddy while going through my schooling online full time. As of 3/27/2022, I am 4 weeks from receiving my certificate in gunsmithing. After which I will be pursuing my Associates Degree. Once I complete my certificate, I will be going through the tough job of applying for a business license and getting my Federal Firearms License (FFL).
My business will be gunsmithing, weapon sales, and weapon customization. There are many costs involved with trying to get this business started. The main costs that I am hoping to gain from reaching out are for assorted tools that I will need, as well as my business licensing costs and insurance costs for the first few months.
