This is John, this past week 3-11-2025 he was working and come in contact with a live power line. He was electrocuted and severely burn. Over 50% of his upper body has third degree burns along with two broken ribs. He was air lifted to Atlanta where he will continue this long journey to recovery. Since this accident last week in just a few days he is making great progress. He spend the first few nights on a ventilator and in an induced coma. Since then they were able to slowly wake him up and gradually remove the ventilator. He is still in very bad shape but he is alive and moving forward. He underwent one of several upcoming surgeries this past Thursday. Debridement surgery to determine the extent of his burns. He still has a very long road ahead of him. With that being said, unfortunately when accidents happen there are a lot of things that still need to be take care of while trying to recover. Clearly he is not going to be able to work for a while. Unfortunately, the word keeps turning regardless. His bills still have to be paid and his children still have to be taken care of. That alone is beyond stressful while being in this tragic situation. His family has been by his side at the hospital with him since this accident . They also are being hit with unexpected travel and hotel expenses. I have personally been in this same situation with my daughter several years ago. I was financially put in a bad spot but At that time my only focus was getting my child better but feared loosing everything at the same time. My dear friends and family set up a go fund me for me at that time to help financially. i couldn't be more thankful for the support emotionally and financially i received for not just friends and family but complete strangers in my time of need. It was over whelming. I want to help this family the same way i was helped in such a desperate time. PLEASE help me in trying to take as much financial stress off this family thru this very long road ahead.
