Hi everyone, thank you for even taking the time to read this.

I’m not the proudest asking strangers for help, but even if this doesn’t get much attention, I won’t regret putting it out there because this isn’t just for me, it’s for my baby on the way.

I’m due in November 2025, and my biggest goal is to have a safe, reliable car before my baby arrives. I wouldn’t be asking if I weren’t pregnant—my car is older, and despite spending about $4,000 on repairs (between me and family), something new goes wrong every time we fix the last issue. It’s not about how I drive (I’ve got a clean record), the car is just nearly maxed out on miles and can’t keep up anymore.

I’m terrified of breaking down (or worse) with my baby in the backseat. I don’t need anything fancy, just something safe and dependable, with a backseat for a car seat.

On top of that, I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain from my wisdom teeth, which are pushing in and overcrowding my mouth. It hurts to eat, but skipping meals hurts more. especially with my growing appetite from pregnancy. Sadly, Medicaid and my parents’ insurance don’t cover a dime for wisdom teeth removal, and I’d love to get them out before baby comes so I can fully focus on caring for them once they’re here.

My boyfriend, our families, and I are doing everything we can. working, budgeting and saving, but sometimes, doing everything still isn’t enough. That’s why I’m humbly asking for help.

Any support, whether it’s donating or simply sharing this, is deeply appreciated. It really does take a village.

With love and God bless,

A first-time mom doing her best to keep her baby safe
