On May 27th, 2023, this woman, a loving grandma and mother was in a horrific accident. All of her kids, their family and her sisters and their family are all by her side at the hospital as she goes through surgeries and recovery. We have found ourselves having to do the one thing we do not like to do..Asking for Help. As of today we happy to report that there has been improvement in the right direction. At this point we still do not know to the extent of the injuries but we do know of some pretty significant ones. She is in critical condition and is starting to become responsive. Her children do not want to leave her side. We are looking for a bit of financial help to allow us to continue staying by her side, future travel expenses, and help with Janice’s financial needs. When she pulls through this we were told we are NOT looking at months but YEARS of recovery. She would help anyone in a heart beat. She loved her people.. now she needs us all more than ever. Please do not feel obligated. We love your prayers ❤️

    We have some good news!

Mom has made enough progression to be able to be moved to a Rehab Facility. She arrive their today, so she is settling in.

She is still looking at a minimum of 2 months of lite therapy (although very hard therapy) before she can start therapy to walk again.

We are continuing to stay by her side as much as finances allow.

Some of the financial obstacles we will be encountering in the future are..

    Travel & lodging Expenses
Making her home handicap friendly and accessible.
    Medical Supplies

We would like to send a heartfelt thank to everyone that has donated and more importantly prayed for our Mother.

She is one of the strongest people we have ever met. She has endured so much and through it all she held on.

Some days are tougher then others. We know there are still many bumps in the road, and we pray she will be able to climb each one with ease.

We can not wait till we can bring her home, we all miss her. Her grandkids and great grandbabies are lost without her.

We can never express how thankful we are to everyone.

We cannot believe it has been almost a month since this horrible accident has happened.

There have been many ups and many downs. Bumps in the road are to be expected.

To date our Mother has had 11 surgical procedures., a unknown amount of blood transfusions (more then we have been able to keep track of), endless lab work, xrays and CT Scans.

She has endured more then we have even been able to wrap our minds around.

She has shown us so much strength.
In this we have had a renewed faith in God and Humanity.

We have learned not to take anything for granted, no matter how small.

She is still in ICU and once she is able she will need to go to a Rehab Facility.

You all have helped us to stay by her side. We can never thank you enough. We still have a long road ahead, so if you can please share.

Every little bit helps! Please do not feel obligated. We appreciate all you have done. Most of all we appreciate all of your prayers.

    Thank you!

Our mom has been such a fighter. We were excited when they moved her to rehab. Unfortunately she quickly started to turn around. After 3 days in rehab, she was transfer back to the main hospital and less then 24 hours later she was transfered back to ICU.
We do not know how long this ICU stay will be. We are determined to stay by her every step of the way.
Thank you all for the continued support!

Mom is still moving in the right direction. Simple things are becoming huge accomplishments which has shown us all to not take anything for granted. She has undergone 7 surgeries to date. She is still fighting everyday to be stronger.

We can never truly express how appreciative we are for the love and support you have all given her and our family. She still has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. This has been a life changing event for all of us.

We plan to always have one of us right here by her side.

The last few days have been rough with some of her major injuries being addressed. She has been a true fighter through all of this. We have hit some bumps in the road, but that is to be expected.

She has had 6 surgeries to date, so her body is tired. We possibly have a 7th surgery in the future depending on the outcome of current tests.

We are more then appreciative of the help we have received to date. We are still looking at a very long road of recovery so we are doing all we can to make sure we can stay by her side.

She is so loved, and we are ensuring that she is receiving the care that she has always given to all those around her.

I apologize for not being very good at updates..
First of all we thank you for your continued support. This has allowed us kids to stay by her side.
We have had to make tough decisions and have talks with Doctors that you can never prepare for.

    She is a fighter!

Mom has had 4 surgeries so far, and will have a big surgery tomorrow. She has had many scans and xrays. Due to how traumatic some injuries are, they are to heartbreaking to put into words. She has started to be responsive, by opening her eyes, wiggling a toe here and there and occasionally squeezing our hand.

We are cherishing all the little miracles, but she is not out of the woods, so we have to also prepare for the bumps in the road along the way.

Please keep the prayers coming, we are still looking at years of recovery
