My husband and I fostered and fell madly in love with a sibling group of 4 little luvs for 2 years before they were reunited with their birth parents…. Four years later and 4 more kids, our little ones are back in foster care and parental rights have been terminated. We are adopting all 8 kids, ages 2 months to 12 years. DHS pays for the adoption. DHS does not pay for a passenger van, which is a necessity since we are going from 3 kids to 11, 8 of which need carseats. I have found several used 15 passenger vans around $30k. We have 18 acres and a small home, but we have been pre approved to put a 5 bedroom modular home in our property, and that too requires a hefty down payment. It will take a few months for DHS to transfer the kids and their case to Oklahoma, where we now live so we are trying to get it all together before the kids come in January. Any help is appreciated!
