With the recent flooding in Muncie, Linda and Rollin Gill have been hard hit. Living with Buck Creek in the backyard, they have never seen flooding like this. It’s been a nightmare of epic proportions. They were lucky to have neighbors with a boat that came and got them out of the house and neighborhood an hour before the water breached the house soaking the whole interior with water.
So many people have called, checked in, and come to help and they appreciate all the love. They are working on the different steps of restoring the house to a livable condition but it comes with a high price tag. They do not know this fundraiser has started by family members, but will be finding out soon. Please donate and leave messages of encouragement. It will mean so much to them!
If you’ve been sent to this page but don’t know the Gills, here are some fun facts. They have lived in the house since 1961. They are active members of Glad Tidings Church. If you have ever spotted a yellow smiley face Post-it note or shark tooth neckless, you’ve probably run into them! They are incredibly loving and generous people who put their family first, and we would like to return that love by helping them with this major expense.
