After a ten-year journey with cancer, my husband lost his battle. Out of that deeply personal experience, I set out to create a place where I could use both my education and my journey to help others. At Heart and Soul Works, we’ve done just that—supporting those who are facing life’s hardest transitions.
Along the way, we discovered a gap in care: so many people navigating grief and the lasting impact of caregiving often feel isolated and unseen. After the pandemic, when many in-person support groups disappeared, that need became even greater.
That’s why we are developing free, in-person gatherings to bring people together. These groups have already offered comfort and connection to many, and we want to continue expanding them so no one has to walk through grief or caregiving alone.
Your support makes this possible. It allows us to continue offering these gatherings to those who need them most. If you’ve ever been a caregiver—the hardest job you’ll ever do—or have struggled with loss, you know how essential it is to have a community around you.
Would you consider supporting us? Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us help others.
