Hello,
My name is Casey and I am a single mother of a 9 year old boy. I am a teacher and I am currently a full time student pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education. A few years ago I had moved in with my grandma to help take care of her after she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. She recently has taken a turn for the worse and is no longer mobile and has had to be placed into an assisted living home and due to this my son and I have lost a roof over our head and we are now homeless. With bills adding up and with what I make as a teacher. I am trying to survive with no help which has been very overwhelming. I am the type of person to never ask for help and especially when the only family member I have who was there for me is extremely Ill and is not able to be there for me anymore, I have swallowed my pride and created a page in need of some help. I’m asking as a struggling parent for help to be able to pay for a hotel/motel for a month to keep a roof over our heads while I figure out what I need to better our lives.
