In the past few months my family has been through a great deal of trauma. We were making it through but then things took a turn for the worse. I was recently diagnosed with severe iron deficiency anemia and hypokalemia (low potassium). I was sent to get an immediate blood transfusion after my test results were received. I need to get further testing immediately.
Unfortunately I’m in the worst situation possible. My car needs work I can’t currently afford. Because of this I’ve lost my job. I’m trying to find something I can do from home. Due to my health my options are limited. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight in a very short period of time. I’ve also lost muscle mass. I’m weak. I’m tired all the time. I’m falling asleep all the time. I’m very lightheaded a lot of the time. My doctors have imbued me with a sense of urgency that’s very concerning. I’ve dealt with a chronic illness for my whole life and never felt like this. I need to see hematology and oncology as well as a gastroenterologist. The sooner the better.
I also have 2 children counting on me and I don’t have a dollar to my name. I really need help right now.
