We couldn't be prouder of him than we are thus far. He has overcome some challenges that life has thrown his way with grace and strength. Every since he was a baby at 3yrs of age he had a š in his hand.During his High School years he was told that his abilities and strengths had limits and the energy given was a lot of false hope of not being able to be good enough. As his parents, it broke our hearts, and we felt he would give up. We keep him lifted with God, love and structure to support him with his life ventures. As a young man, he took all of his self-doubt, false hope, and insecurities to the hoop daily šŖ! Despite all odds, he has worked hard to beat the odds against him.
He completed High School, went to an online college, worked, raised his GPA, and pushed himself hard toward his basketball goals. Now we stand here with a scholarship for Basketball D3 š school, not from his HS, but from his hard work of having this life's dream. This young man was born Oct 5, 2001. Still so young and has so much to reach for.
We are so proud of you, son. As your parents, we saw how hard you pushed. God had your path already planned, and you worked so hard to fulfill the start of your dreams. Your chapter is beginning now, with God first. What He has for you no one can take away. Keep pushing yourself and keep God first šš½.
Brandin will be attending Reinhardt University as he continues his basketball and further his major in Sports Medicine. He will be leaving for school on August 15th, 2026. We will be planning a gathering to celebrate him on August 9th, 2026.
