After stabilizing his condition and gaining some weight, Adam had his first surgery in the Rome hospital he’s been in since evacuating Gaza. Thank God, so far he’s recovering well and hopefully will be reunited with his parents soon. 

This is the first step in a series of surgeries that are required for Adam to recover. His family cannot yet legally work in Italy, which means they are reliant on government programs for meals and medical care. However, they don’t have any funds to purchase clothing, daily items, baby items, and more. Support is needed to meet the family’s needs and help them get their start in Italy.

Baby Adam is still undergoing care in a renowned hospital as his doctors continue to test for the underlying cause of his hospitalization. He is stable, has access to round the clock care, and has visits from his family.
His family is beginning to adjust to life in Italy and take language classes. While they have resources and support from organizations to help them settle in, any support from the community would be greatly appreciated so they can begin to plan their future. 🤍

Adam and his family have been evacuated! 💚💚❤️❤️Our thanks to all the donors who supported the family when Adam was in hospital in Gaza. Six days ago, the family was evacuated to Italy, where Adam is undergoing tests and receiving around-the-clock care. While the family is safe and well, they are in a new and unfamiliar country, don’t speak the language, aren’t familiar with the city, and need support while getting settled. We will continue to update as information is available regarding Adam’s health and the family’s situation.
