As someone who has spent years on the frontlines of healthcare advocacy and development here in Delaware, the collaboration between the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement and the Miss America Opportunity represents far more than a partnership — it’s a powerful alignment of mission, values, and impact.
I’ve seen firsthand how access, education, and equity can transform health outcomes. Through my work in health development and partnerships, I’ve helped grow initiatives that prioritize prevention, community connection, and long-term systemic change. That’s why this cause is personal. Go Red for Women brings critical attention to the leading cause of death in women — cardiovascular disease — and does so in a way that empowers education, advocacy, and action. It’s not just about raising awareness. It’s about saving lives.
As I run for Miss Delaware America 2026, I’m using this moment to continue my legacy of impact and elevate it to a national stage. The Miss America Organization has long championed scholarship, service, and social impact. My goal in raising funds is not only to further my own academic and professional journey, but to invest in a future where every woman — regardless of zip code, race, or socioeconomic status — has the resources and support she needs to live a heart-healthy life.
This collaboration reminds us that heart health is not a women’s issue — it’s a human issue. Through service, storytelling, and strategic fundraising, I hope to help shift the conversation from treatment to prevention, and from awareness to action.
Together, we can make heart health a priority — for Delaware, and for women everywhere.
