Hi friends, family, and kind souls,
I’m writing this with urgency and a trembling heart. I’m currently pregnant in my third trimester and facing a life-threatening complication that puts my baby girl at serious risk. I recently found out about a serious autonomic nervous system condition.
My doctors have advised an intensive therapy called NAD+ to protect both my nervous system and my daughter’s development. My doctors have let me know, without this treatment, my baby could be born with severe complications—seizures at birth, dangerously low muscle tone (also known as “floppy baby syndrome”) breathing problems, and she may even need to be life flighted immediately after delivery for emergency care. In the worst case, fatality, or her life expectancy could be measured in just a few short years.
I’m terrified—but I’m not giving up.
This therapy gives her a real chance at life, stability, and safety. It’s my only path forward. But it’s not covered by insurance, the amount I’m asking will cover all medical costs for this treatment.
I’ve exhausted every other option to get this treatment and I’m now turning to my community for help because I am running out of time!
