Liza Olivera Smalls was a woman to be loved and appreciated. A mother, daughter, sister and friend to be loved by. March 5, 2026 she was given her wings to fly home to loved ones on the other side.
Liza struggled for a few years with her health and could no longer work outside the home. Her having seizures and being placed on a list for a heart, she was given a life expectancy of 1 year in 2023. We guess she was granted additional time with us here on earth as she worked towards better health and loving her family as best as she could. She was forced to provide for herself and her young son by fixed income. Being on that kind income most often people are unable to afford any additional insurance especially life insurance and providing for a growing child.
I come to you today representing our family asking to help raise funds to help my parents who now will be raising her 13 year old son, cover the costs and expenses of cremation and possibly help him adjust into a new normal. He will need clothing, things to make him feel at home in a new room. No parent should have to surpass their child's life span and no child should have to experience grief at this young age. So please if you find it in your heart since she wasn't able to get hers, please donate. Every $1 counts and would help our family through this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
