I am reaching out for emergency help after a terrifying event during a trip to Minneapolis with my 7-year-old daughter. While we were visiting the city, a speeding car driving illegally in the bus lane t-boned our vehicle. By some miracle, my daughter and I escaped with only minor injuries, though we had to be rushed to a local hospital to be checked out. We are incredibly grateful to be alive and holding each other tight today.
Unfortunately, our car was completely destroyed in the crash and is entirely unfixable. This has left us completely stranded in Minnesota with no means of transportation. We urgently need to fly back home to Georgia so I can return to work and my daughter can get back to school, but the unexpected medical evaluation and the total loss of our vehicle have left us facing overwhelming sudden expenses.We are raising $3,000 to cover our emergency expenses, which include:Emergency Flights: Last-minute plane tickets from Minneapolis (MSP) to Georgia for my daughter and me.Temporary Lodging & Food: A safe place to stay while we wait for our flights and finalize police and insurance paperwork.Vehicle Replacement Fund: A down payment toward a reliable used car so I can safely commute to work and get my daughter to school once we arrive home.
