Kim would be 41 this year. It’s hard to believe she has been gone as long as she has. We are also coming up on two years of Dad being gone.
Mom and I want to mark these days with continued support for the library at Bradley Creek School. We are asking you to join us in contributing to the book fund in Kim’s and Dad’s memory. Please consider helping us this year, any amount is needed and very much appreciated. You can donate here online or you can mail us a check written to Bradley Creek School and we will deliver them to Ms. Janssen, the librarian.
For those of you unfamiliar with this cause here is a bit of background. After our Kim died we wanted to create a fitting memorial for her. We decided to make a donation to Bradley Creek Elementary School library for the purchase of books. This is where Kim began her school career and started her lifelong love of reading.
We do not have any stipulations as to what type of books are purchased, only that we be allowed to insert a sticker in each book.
The sticker reads:
The sticker reads:
IN MEMORY OF KIM SIBBACH 1985 – 2011
BRADLEY CREEK STUDENT 1990 – 1996
LET HER LOVE OF READING FOSTERED HERE BE PASSED TO OTHERS THROUGH THIS BOOK.
Kim’s birthday is coming up soon, January 25th, and for many years it has been designated as Kim Day by her thoughtful and loving friends and family members. We are using her day to honor her memory.
