“A friend loveth at all times.” Proverbs 17:17
Mauricio “Mo” Rincon was born on 10/4/1981 in Washington, D.C. He was surrounded by family, when he passed away in Tampa on November 17th, 2024, at the age of 43. Up until his last breath, Mauricio fought tirelessly and his faith in God remained steadfast. Although he left this earth all too soon, Mauricio was an amazing husband and father, a true friend and genuine brother to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennie Rincon; his children, Christian Rincon and Caylin Rincon; mother, Betty Rincon; brother, Phillip Rincon; grandfather, Edgar H. Rincon. Preceded in death by his father, Ivan Rincon. He left behind a large loving family: Nancy Velez, Piedad Deconti, Victor Rincon Andres Rincon, & Fabio Rincon.
Mauricio was an admirable man throughout his life and always put his family first and foremost. He was a devote husband with an unwavering love for Jennie and as a father he lived a life full of integrity. He was a kind-hearted son and to his brother he was nothing less than a ride or die. Whether family was near or far, Mauricio cherished family gatherings and never took for granted the time they spent together. The love he shared will live in their hearts and continue to impact others as they carry his memory along with them.
Mauricio’s character was larger than life and there was not an event too minuscule that he could not bring “life to the party”. Anyone he met quickly became friends and friends grew to be family. His exuberant love for others did not stop at family and friends, he extended his love to his work family and even strangers. Mauricio’s passion was bringing people together and he was typically the master mind organizing it all. He planned unforgettable trips with memories that will never be replaced.
Mauricio’s legacy will inspire us to live each day with no regrets, always loving one another no matter what. Leading everyone with his notorious…. “Let’s Go!”
Although our loss of Mauricio is insurmountable, we can count our blessings and thank God for the time we were blessed to have spent with such an extraordinary man.
What made Mauricio the happiest was being surrounded by those he loved. Even on the day of his passing, he still brought friends and family together to laugh and reminisce of the good times along with a toast in his honor.
