Being a single mother to my two wonderful children has been a beautiful journey full of unexpected turns. My youngest has special needs, which fills my days with both challenges and incredible joy. Living in El Paso, Texas, I cherish the support from my community, but the current lack of childcare means I'm unable to work until school starts again.
As the new school year approaches, I find myself struggling to cover the costs of school clothes and supplies for my kids. It's hard to put into words how important it is for them to start the year feeling confident and well-prepared. My goal is to gather enough to ensure they're ready to learn and thrive, just like every child deserves.
