On may 2nd my eventual ex husband went to wake up our 12 year old for school what we found instead was her having seizures. We called 911 not knowing what was going on. Shortly after arriving at the hospital I recieved a phone call from her principal another child had shown her a text saying my daughter told her she was going to od. Hours later and a helicopter ride for her to a children’s hospital over 45 mins away from home she was unconscious and fighting for her life. I started to go through her phone. I found pictures no mother should find any messages on Snapchat that shouldn’t have been there. She had been blocked from social media or so I thought but she’s smart to smart. From what I can piece together she was bullied and convince to send inappropriate pictures to who knows. She was intubated and unconscious for 3 days. 24 hours after being at the picu they had to sedate her as she had aspirated into her lung but kept trying to wake up. On day 3 they took her off oxygen and she started the real hard part trying to walk. We were moved to a different floor and we found she had a ulcer in her eye and her legs go numb. The eye is better but her legs still go numb. This lasted a week spent the whole time on a very uncomfortable couch and my husband drove back and forth to bring me clothes and see her. Needless to say she got a week stay in psych where they got her medicated.  When she got committed we again went to visit every few days as I had to go back to work.We are now facing medical bills and are behind on our mortgage not to mention the therapy and psychiatric testing they want her to receive for mental health disorders. I work at the post office as part time and my eventual ex husband has since been arrested for molesting the same 12 year old and I am left to deal with the bills and everything on my own. I just want to keep my girls in their home and help my oldest to be a better version of herself. He will not be getting out anytime soon. I am not allowed to sell any of his stuff without his permission I am just trying to catch up so we can maintain as he left us behind more than I thought.
