Honoring the Life and Legacy of Sherwin Anthony Dazzell
Sunrise: July 9, 1993 — Sunset: May 26, 2025
With deep sorrow and broken hearts, we share the passing of our brother Sherwin Anthony Dazzell, who left us unexpectedly just two months before his 32nd birthday.
Sherwin was the only boy out of five siblings, and he carried that role with strength, warmth, and a deep sense of responsibility. He was not only a brother, but a protector and a peacemaker. Sherwin was a beautiful soul, ambitious, driven, and filled with purpose. As a passionate advocate and leader in his workplace, he made a lasting impact on colleagues. He was a visionary, a goal-setter, and someone who believed deeply in uplifting others. Sherwin lived with integrity and intention, always striving to grow, achieve, and inspire.
Sherwin was loving, gentle, kind, and thoughtful. He lived with our mother, offering her daily support and companionship. His absence is felt in every corner of our hearts.
To honor Sherwin's life and legacy, we are raising funds to:
-
Cover funeral and memorial service expenses
-
Transport Sherwin home to Guyana, where he will be laid to rest beside our beloved grandmother
-
Support our mother as she grieves the loss of her only son and daily companion
We are deeply grateful for every donation, prayer, and message of love. Your support helps us celebrate Sherwin’s life and legacy with the dignity and love he so greatly deserves.
To avoid fees, the easiest and most direct way to contribute is via Zelle to: lisadazzit@yahoo.com or 347-816-1482. (We appreciate your support in any form, and GoFundMe donations are still welcome if preferred.)
With love and deep gratitude,
The Dazzell Family
