Employ Direct Group is currently serving 20 mentees with the support of 10 mentors through our partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies TeamMates program and a local Memphis church.
Our mentors are currently volunteering their time because they believe in the power of mentorship and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
We are now working to build the resources and partnerships needed to expand this program to reach even more Memphis youth.

Funds raised through this campaign will help us strengthen our current program while creating the foundation for future expansion.
With additional funding, we hope to:
🏫 Expand Mentoring Into Memphis Schools
Develop partnerships with local schools so more students can have access to consistent, positive adult mentors and opportunities for personal, academic, career, and leadership development.
🤝 Support & Compensate Mentors
Our mentors are currently volunteering their time. Our goal is to secure sustainable funding that will allow us to compensate mentors for the time, commitment, and support they provide to their mentees.
👥 Support Program Supervisors
As the program grows, funding will help support the individuals responsible for coordinating mentors, monitoring program activities, supporting youth and mentors, and helping maintain a high-quality mentoring experience.
🍎 Expand Meal & Food Support
As we expand into Memphis schools, we want to develop the capacity to provide meals during program activities and, when needed, help provide weekend food support for participating students and families.
🎒 Create More Educational & Career Experiences
Funding will allow us to provide field trips, career exploration, educational experiences, and exposure to opportunities that help young people envision possibilities beyond their current circumstances.
🏀 Enhance Grizzlies Game-Day Experiences
The Memphis Grizzlies generously provide complimentary tickets to our mentoring program. Additional funding would allow us to provide concessions and other game-day experiences for participating youth.
💰 Create Meaningful Youth & Mentor Incentives
We want to recognize commitment, participation, personal growth, leadership, attendance, and accomplishments through appropriate incentives for both mentees and mentors.
👕 Provide Program Materials & T-Shirts
Program shirts and materials help create a sense of belonging and remind participants that they are part of a team and a community that believes in them.

Our vision is to build a sustainable mentoring model that can eventually reach hundreds of Memphis youth through partnerships with schools, community organizations, churches, businesses, and other organizations committed to investing in the future of our city.
