On November 22nd 2022, the Pope family's world got turned upside down. Their beloved father, husband, brother, son and friend, Scott Gerald Pope, passed away due to stage 4 stomach cancer. He battled with this horrible disease for 12 long months with his beautiful wife, Allison, right by his side always. During this time Scott fought so very hard to not leave his family. He tried non traditional medicine, traditional medicine, changed his diet, meditation and so much more. He was a true warrior. But in the end Scott's body could not withstand the beast. And he passed away peacefully in his wife's arms at their home.
With Scott's passing so did some of family's financial security. The added financial stress is not what the Pope family need during this season. They need to be able to grieve and not worry. I wanted to start this fund to help lighten the weight on Allison's shoulders as she navigates through this new journey. The fund will be for general bills, financial emergencies, medical bills, and upcoming college tuitions.
Scott did everything for his family and friends including wife Allison, stepson Andrew, stepdaughter Lydia, and daughter Stella. They were his whole world. He wanted to make sure they would be ok when he was gone. He wanted the best for his family.
