Help A Displaced Family Find A Forever Home

One year ago my children and I were displaced. I have 4 children and 3 of them are disabled. We were receiving housing assistance and one day I called the office to find out what I needed to do to move to a different house. It was in April 2025 when I called, I was informed that I had been removed from the housing program in December of 2024. The reason I was told that I was removed is because the housing program sent me out a letter and it was returned to them marked “undeliverable”. They said when “the letter came back” I was immediately removed from the program because they were under the impression that I no longer lived there. Due to the fact that it was past 30 days, there wasn’t anything that i could do about it. Mind you, I had just passed my inspection in October. My children and I had been there almost 10 years. By the time I found out all of this was going on, the landlord had already started the eviction process. Now with an eviction under my name, I have received denial after denial for a place for my family. We have been living in a hotel for the past year and it has been extremely difficult. I was reluctant to send this, however my daughter insisted and she said it wouldn’t hurt to ask for help. I just want to put my children in a nice home!
