In 2004 I had dental surgery to remove all four of my wisdom teeth because they were impacting the teeth next to them. The conventional dental surgeon didn’t clean everything out when he did that, leaving behind dead tissue, so I’ve had chronic infections in those areas on and off ever since the surgery. The infection has over time killed one of my other teeth, which now needs more surgery to remove, and has almost killed another tooth. I've had severe, debilitating pain on and off due to this chronic infection that keeps coming back despite my efforts to kill it. The severe pain sometimes makes it hard to take care of my small children, so my husband has been working overtime, helping me, taking care of our children, as well as still working 10-hour shifts. We are both exhausted, but God keeps us going.
Since late July 2026, I’ve nearly lost the ability to chew and eat solid foods completely (I can only use my front teeth to chew and they don't do a good job), so I’m currently living off of whatever is blended in the blender, usually raw garlic, raw onion, raw kale, sesame seeds, turmeric, high amounts of vitamin C tablets, a calcium/magnesium/D3 supplement, and raw honey to help get it all down, plus any soft foods that my front teeth can break down into small enough pieces to swallow. The blended garlic/onion mixture has been helping to kill the infection and bring down the swelling to tolerable levels, but if I ever go too long without drinking it, the infection returns along with the severe pain caused by the swelling. Praise God for merciful healing foods!
Recently, through much research and advice from a close friend, I found a holistic dentist in Springfield, MO that actually uses non-toxic therapies to promote true healing, rather than just removing teeth and creating even more long-term problems. I found them through another holistic dentist, Dr. Michelle Jorgensen, in Utah. Since traveling to Utah for dental work would cost too much money, I used their directory to find a holistic dentist closer to me. Springfield is about 130 miles away from me so I’ll still have to travel to get there, but that is still much closer than Utah. The cost of traveling there with my husband and two small children will add to the total cost of my treatments, especially because it will take several treatments to get everything taken care of. I will keep praying that God heals me and helps me fund my treatments.
I don’t have and can’t afford dental insurance, and most insurances don’t even cover holistic care anyway, because it’s effective and not profitable. I need help funding my dental treatments so that I can stop living in so much pain, start eating solid foods again, and finally work towards real health. I appreciate anything that anyone can help with. Thank you for anything you can do! Please keep me and my family in your prayers! Only God can get us through this.
Any money from this fundraiser in excess of my dental care costs will be donated to Bible Explorations.
Even if you can’t help financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your support, whether financial or through spreading the word, would mean a lot to me and help me get my necessary treatments faster. Thank you again.
