Asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I'm setting my pride aside because my children's health comes first.
As a single mother, I work hard every day to provide for my kids and give them everything they need. While we do have dental insurance, it only covers a portion of the procedures they urgently need. Even after insurance, the remaining balance is far beyond what I can afford.
Their dental issues won't improve by waiting. In fact, delaying treatment could lead to more pain, more extensive procedures, and even higher costs in the future. My greatest concern is making sure they receive the care they need before their dental health worsens.
It's difficult to admit that I can't do this on my own. I carry a lot of guilt because every parent wants to be able to provide everything their children need. The reality is that I'm doing everything I can, stretching every dollar, and working as hard as possible, but this is one obstacle I simply cannot overcome without help.
