Our son Kash Diaz is a joyful, energetic two-year-old who lights up every room with his love for Spider-Man and his passion for pretending to be a chef. He’s happiest when he’s playing with his cooking toys or spending time with his mama, always bringing smiles to those around him.
On April 17th, our world changed when Kash was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After several hospital visits in the prior months for breathing difficulties and an enlarged stomach, we learned that all of his main organs were enlarged and a mass in his chest was pressing against his lungs, making it hard for him to breathe. Since his diagnosis, our family’s daily life has been turned upside down.
